Supported Independent Living (SIL) for NDIS Participants
Supported Independent Living allows eligible participants to receive in home supports 24 hours, 7 days per week. You will be supported to live as independently as possible, with assistance for daily tasks, and any other activities of your choice, to achieve your goals.
At Disability Connect we respect that this is YOUR life, and YOUR home. We listen to, and act on your views and wishes, about how it is run day to day, what type of support staff you want in your home, and how you want those supports delivered.
We also know that sometimes things change, so at Disability Connect we make sure you have a voice, and we hear it.
For example we can assist you with:
- Household jobs in and around your home
- Personal care tasks
- Mobility to get around in your home and community
- Medication
- Shopping and budgeting
- Communicating your views and wishes
- Develop meaningful relationships and connections that are important to you
- Navigating and engaging with your NDIS/community/mainstream supports
- Preparing for your NDIS plan reassessment
